Youth Soccer Age Division Registration Management

ERSFNA's annual youth tournament supports play in U8, U11, U14, and U18 age divisions.  ERSFNA has now adopted U.S. Soccer's age eligibility chart.  Reference the chart below to determine a player's age division placement. ERSFNA is switching to birth year to determine what age group a player plays in.  For example, a player born in the year 2009 will play in the U14 age group for the 2023 tournament. All Clubs associated with the annual tournament must follow this procedure.

• Players are allowed to play "up" as long as they are at the top (maximum age) of the age bracket they belong; for example, a seven (7) years-old player is ineligible to play in the U11 age group. Only eight (8) years-old players may move up to the U11. 

The following table is provided to help organizers manage their team registration for an ERSFNA sanctioned youth soccer tournament.  Age groups shall be comprised of youth players who are:

1. U18: Eighteen (18) years of age and younger
2. U14: Fourteen (14) years of age and younger
3. U11: Eleven (11) years of age and younger
4.   U8: Eight (8) years of age and younger
